Bespoke Events and Stakeout yesterday made a daring move, announcing the introduction of Luxe Lifestyle Event. At the event, stakeholders are set to celebrate culture at Lush Harvest Garden in Blantyre in March next year.
According to the organisers, the occasion is poised to be a defining cultural celebration, showcasing African diversity, creativity and sustainability in a 12-hour extravaganza.
Speaking at a press conference at Stakeout in Blantyre on Monday, one of the directors, Temwa Banda, said the event was themed ‘Afilika’, which means Africa in Bantu languages.
Banda said the event reflects the continent’s dynamic spirit, blending traditional African art with modern creativity.
“The Luxe Lifestyle Event is not just an event; it is a movement. We want to establish this as a premier platform that empowers artists and creative minds while giving the world a taste of Africa’s unmatched cultural and creative wealth,” Banda said.
The event is expected to offer local and international guests the platform to celebrate African arts, crafts and music.
“Attendees will be treated to a full spectrum of entertainment from top African DJs to performances, highlighting the continent’s rich musical traditions. Culinary delights will also feature prominently with gourmet dishes, cocktails, and African-inspired beverages crafted by world-class chefs and mixologists,” Banda said.
The organisers have since indicated that the Luxe Lifestyle Event, which seeks to gain international recognition with its cultural showcases, will be running annually.
