Mighty Wanderers held a supporters’ leaders and partners’ meeting at their Blantyre-based club house Thursday.
The meeting brought together members of the supporters’ committee board, regional chairpersons and all three club partners namely Smile Life Insurance, Pemba Driving School and Rubber Stamps and 888 Bets.
Among other things, the meeting was aimed at improving service delivery and fostering mutual benefits for all stakeholders.

Wanderers’ Brands and Marketing Manager Greyson Chapita said the meeting was crucial as supporters have a role to play in improving service delivery.
“Our objective is to ensure that we have a strong partnership where the supporters understand the role of our partners,” Chapita said.
Smile Life Insurance Head of Business Development and Marketing Manager Gonjani Fumulani outlined the benefits of registering as supporters, including a funeral cover of up to K2.5 million.
“We plan to register half of Wanderers’ supporters nationwide,” Fumulani said.
On his part, Wanderers supporters’ national chairperson Mervin Mkunika hailed the meeting for bridging the communication gap.
“The meeting was a success,” he said.
The 2024 Castel Challenge Cup holders signed a K100 million one-year kit sponsorship contract with 888 Bets early this year. Smile Life pumped K25 million into Wanderers in 2024. The company [Smile Life] increased player-of-the-match prizes to K250,000 from K150,000. Pemba Rubber Stamps offers K750,000 in driving lessons and K300,000 for player of the month.
