CDH Investment Bank has moved to donate K2 million to Kamuzu University of Health Sciences (KUHeS) for the 3rd research dissemination conference schedule to take place from 2nt to 4th October at Amaryllis Hotel in Blantyre.
The donation has been made by the bank, in its belief in a health nation.
CDH Investment Bank Chief Risk and Compliance Officer, Robert Malipa, said they reckon that to address emerging issues in health, stakeholders need to indulge in research which offers a guide to interventions.
He said the bank has for long trusted the importance of such high-level engagements given substantial results that have been made on the health sector.
‘’We must state that as CHD Bank, “We are committed to helping businesses to grow and we are confident that the deliberations at the conference will help the KUHeS and Malawi to grow and help participants to brainstorm on how to improve the quality of health services for our nation,” he said.
Dr Benjamin Kumwenda, Director of Student Affairs at KUHeS said the support will go a long way in ensuring the conference is smooth.
He said the theme of the conference is “Research and Innovation Driving Health Towards #MW2063”.
According to Dr Kumwenda, the conference will tow on mental health issues, infections that are recurring like Covid19 and cholera.
