The Malawi Confederation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry has proposed increasing productivity and export growth, for the country to register significant economic gains.
The sentiments comes ahead of the 20th National Agriculture Fair to be held from 29th to 31st August 2024 at Chichiri Trade Fair Ground in Blantyre.
Speaking to MIJ Online, Daisy Kambalame Chief Executive Officer for MCCCI, said the country’s development hinges on significant investments to achieve export-oriented agriculture through commercialization.
She has since underscored the key role that the private sector must play for Malawi to achieve this aspirations.
