FCB Nyasa Big Bullets have signed blossoming defender Andrew Juvinala from Blue Eagles on a three-year contract.
Juvinala becomes the third defender to join Bullets in the ongoing player transfer window after Blessings Joseph and Chikumbutso Henderson.
Bullets announced the signing of the talented right back on their official Facebook page Sunday.
The 22-year-old defender said it was his dream to join Bullets.
“I am excited to join [join Bullets]. It is not a move that I expected and I am delighted [to be here]. I did not hesitate when Bullets knocked on my door,’’ he said.
Juvinala, who helped Eagles win the 2024 FDH Bank Cup and return to the TNM Super League, said he was ready for the new challenge.
“I know it is not easy to play for this big team, considering tough competition in the team, but the club coming for my signature means they believe in my capabilities. I will work to my level best to deliver,” he said.

Juvinala is considered as a direct replacement for Gomezgani Chirwa, who has since left the club for greener pastures in Zimbabwe.
Bullets coach Peter Mponda, who replaced Zimbabwean coach Kalisto Pasuwa, was also delighted with the arrival of the 22-year-old defender.
“A very good player, comfortable on the ball. The plus about him is that he can play as a centre-back and [right-back]. We need players who can be used in different positions,” Mponda said.
Mponda said it was up to the defender to prove his worth.
“I do not think my eyes deceived me; he is a quality [player], but it is up to him now. He has to work hard to fight for his position,” he said.
Juvinala will fight for a starting role with Yamikani Mologeni at the right back position.
He started his football career at Black Rangers in the FCB Under-20 League in 2018 before joining Joseph Football Club in Mchinji District in 2021.
He moved to Eagles in 2022 and scored 15 goals.
