Reigning TNM Super League champions Silver Strikers coach Peter Mgangira has named three new faces as part of his backroom staff.
The new faces are first assistant coach Mapopa Msukwa, strikers coach Green Harawa and goalkeepers coach Philip Nyasulu.
Silver announced the new technical panel Thursday two months before the start of the 2025 football season.

Mgangira, who was promoted to the position of head coach last December following Peter Mponda’s resignation, has maintained Young Chimodzi Jnr as second assistant whereas Emmanuel Chipatala is still the team manager.
Taonga Chimodzi has also been maintained as data and performance analyst. Silver gave Mgangira freedom to choose his back room staff.
Harawa has replaced Zicco Mkanda, who is now at FCB Nyasa Big Bullets in a similar role whereas Nyasulu, who resigned from Civil Service United has replaced Victor Mphande.
Mphande is also at Bullets as goalkeepers’ trainer. In an interview yesterday, Silver Chief Executive Officer Patrick Chimimba was optimistic that the new coaching panel would deliver.
“We are excited that he has selected a good backroom staff. We did not impose any member of the backroom staff,” Chimimba said.
Andrew Mtalimanja and Chikondi Kaminga have been maintained as physiotherapist and team doctor respectively.
Cassim Wasili and Baby Kamwambe have also been maintained as welfare manager and equipment respectively. The new technical panel has been tasked to defend the TNM Super League and win one cup.
Silver are also expected to take part in the 2025 Caf Champions League after winning the TNM Super League title.
So far, Silver have signed two players in the ongoing player transfer window namely striker Samuel Adeyemi and midfielder Festus Duwe.
Other Super League teams including Bullets, Mighty Wanderers, Civil and Mzuzu City Hammers have already announced their technical panel ahead of the forthcoming season.
