Vision Fund has launched a mobile funding digital banking solution aimed at promoting cashless and paperless transactions.
Vision Fund Chief Executive Officer Theodora Ntaba said the launch reaffirms the microfinance institution’s commitment to simplify banking experience and make available products to its customers.

Ntaba said the banking solution will allow Vision Fund customers to transfer funds to local banks, mobile Deputy Governor William Matambo commended the firm for launching the mobile platform which he said it aligns with the Reserve bank objective of enhancing financial inclusion and deepening the outreach of financial services.
“The launch of digital USSD platform at Vision fund supports the national payment system by increasing financial inclusion and strengthening the country’s digital financial ecosystem,”
“USSD based services align with the bank’s objective to modernize and promote electronic payments across the country. These digital platforms enable faster, more secure and cost efficient payments,” Matambo said.
As the world is becoming digital, mobile technology has proved to be a game changer in expanding financial access.
