While parliamentary and local government candidates will submit their papers at their respective constituency offices, presidential candidates are required to do so at the MEC Head Office in Lilongwe.

The Commission has also confirmed that the official presentation of nomination papers will run from Thursday, 24th July to Wednesday, 30th July 2025.

During this period, all candidates—presidential, parliamentary, and local government—will present their documents concurrently.

Presidential candidates will present their papers at the Bingu International Conference Centre, while the others will do so at their respective constituency offices.

MEC has further clarified that the payment of nomination fees and the collection of nomination papers remain open until the final day of submission on 30 July 2025.

However, all MEC offices will remain closed during weekends and public holidays.

As the nation prepares for the 2025 Tripartite Elections, the list of candidates continues to grow, reflecting both political diversity and growing public interest in the electoral process.
