“The film explores revenge, greed and love. Sometimes all it takes is love to unify and heal a community in the midst of chaos,” Mhango Chavula said.

The Lilongwe-based filmmaker, who also stars in the film, said the movie, inspired by true life events, has a cast of 68 and it includes Ashukile Mwakisulu, who is also a filmmaker and is well known for his role in Shemu Joyah’s film The Last Fishing Boat.

The other actors starring in the film are Ashukile Mwakisulu, Kelvin Ngoma, Edwin Chonde, Mphatso Chikuni, Neria Chikhosi and Lillian Sangano.

The film will be premiered later this year. Mwakisulu has since praised the storyline of the film.
