Renowned musician Onesimus popularly known as African Butter on Monday described love as important in life and that this is why he has given it much attention in his sounds.
Having sparked with his romantic track ‘Controller’ last year which won his awards, the artist has made another step by releasing another love track titled ‘Tabwela.’
“Love is what brings us together, love is what God gave unto us and so, we need to embrace it and this is why I am into it and giving it more attention in my songs,” he said.
He said he was happy with the reception that ‘Tabwela’ has received.
“The song is making big waves and this has surprised me. I will keep on pushing and the idea is to give people beautiful songs that have meaningful messages and more importantly keep love flowing and flying,” Onesimus said.
He said the song has come out at the right time as the world looks ahead to Valentine’s Day.
“This is a song I composed last year in January and actually it was inspired by the love that people show each other. So, I am talking about a man or woman speaking about missing their loved one and telling them to come over. This is the spirit of love,” Onesimus said.
