Five years after entering the market, Sigelege Hotels appears to have hit the ground running, bringing the difference in the highly competitive tourism sector.
Already, the company has embarked on expansion of the lakeshore facility in Salima, Sigelege Beach Resort, with a project to construct a 650-seat conference centre that will enable the hotel to host a wide range of events at a bigger scale.
The company will further construct an imposing high rise waterfront hotel section that will be all inclusive, offering guests indoor services like spar, gymnasium and many more as the rooms will all be designed to face the lake of stars.
Sigelege Hotels General Manager Farai Charles Marara said all this could not have been possible had it not been for the good reception the hotel received on the market, hence the launch of loyalty rewards.
“We strive to create heartfelt, everlasting and memorable experiences for our diverse guests who are the heart and the beat to our soul,” Marara said.
He said the growth of the Sigelege Hotels does not end at expansion of the lakeshore outfit, as the company further looks to enter other cities like Blantyre, Lilongwe and Mzuzu.
Sigelege Hotels Sales Manager Rachel Banda said the loyalty scheme has blue, silver, gold and platinum cards that offer up to 20 percent discounts, preferential check-in treatment and birthday and anniversary celebrations with customers.
“For the frequent guests, they have the chance to improve their tiers from blue members to silver, gold and platinum. These come with different incentives, ranging from discounts, quick check-ins, birthday celebrations and many more. It’s our way of saying thank you to our customers and we will always be with you,” Banda said.
One guest, Caroline Chima, who won as best dressed in the female category, expressed satisfaction with the services.
