Boudoir by Doll Mabel brand’s mission continues

Model and former Miss Malawi second princess Mabel Khonje on Saturday opened her first ever Boudoir By Doll Mabel shop at Bingu International Convention Centre (BICC) in Lilongwe.

The opening of the luxury shop which was patronised by several people and coloured with various activities, underlines Mabel’s desire to elevate fashion and model industry in the country.

Having introduced her Boudoir by Doll Mabel in the country in 2020, the Urban Music People (UMP) Fashion Icon recipient has been on the move pushing her brand whose mission is to redefine beauty standards and inspire women to feel confident in their own skin.

“I am excited to open this shop. It has been my desire since I launched by Boudoir by Doll Mabel brand which includes lipstick, lingerie and men’s undergarments,” she said.

The Netherlands-based model and fashion designer said she decided to open the shop after noticing that there was still a gap on the market for quality lingerie.

“Malawi needed this and finally we have it with my own brand. Boudoir by Doll Mabel is a testament to my commitment to empowering women. The brand is a combo of lipstick and lingerie lines, two powerful symbols of self-expression with a focus on inclusivity and diversity,” she said.
