Ada Ehi to perform at Favour Gospel Concert

Nigerian singer Ada Ogochukwu Ehi, better known as Ada Ehi, is set to perform for the first time in the country at the Favour Gospel Concert.

The concert will be held at Bingu International Convention Centre (BICC) in Lilongwe on May 31 2025. Favour Gospel Concert is organised by Jacobs Events, led by gospel musician Wendy Harawa.

Wendy said on Sunday that Jacobs Events was thrilled to unveil the Nigerian gospel musician.

“I can confirm that Ada Ehi will be coming to Malawi in May to perform at the Favour Gospel concert. Let people keep the date in their diary and make sure they do not miss the opportunity of being part of an evening of powerful worship, uplifting music and inspiring testimony,” she said.

Wendy, who has collaborated with a number of artists including Uganda gospel musician Levixone and Namibia’s gospel musician Maranatha Goroh, has brought into the country a number of top international gospel musicians and they include Rebecca Malope, who performed at BICC in 2023.

Ehi, who has performed in several countries including Zimbabwe, started her musical career at the age of 10 as a backup singer for child star Tosin Jegede.

Since she professionally started her music career under Loveworld Records in 2009, she has increasingly gained local and international popularity through her songs and music videos.

Her debut album Undenied was released in November 2009 before she followed it up with Lifted and So Fly in 2013. She released her third album, Future Now, in 2017. The album claimed the number-one spot on iTunes Nigeria on the same day.
