Ku Mingoli Music Bash, led by Sound Addicts Live, has joined forces with Hifi Electronics ahead of its one-day feast to be held at Civo Stadium in Lilongwe on August 3 2024.
The partnership with Hifi, a leading provider of musical instruments, comes barely a week after Ku Mingoli Bash also got sponsorship of K5 million from mobile network company TNM Plc.
In a statement, Ku Mingoli says the partnership aims to enhance the festival’s sound quality and overall production.
The statement further says that they want to give fun lovers the best of Ku Mingoli Bash, having won the hearts of many people in its debut edition last year.
Sound Addicts Live Director Shadreck Kalukusha, who is also a sound engineer, has since expressed excitement with the deal and highlighted the significance of collaboration.
“We are proud to work with Hifi Electronics, which represents a shared commitment to showcasing the best of Malawian talent through music,” Kalukusha said.
Hifi Electronics representative James Theza said their link with Ku Mingoli Bash aligns with their goal of supporting the country’s talent.
“It is important to promote Malawian music and take it to the world. This is why we have come in to work with Ku Mingoli Bash,” Theza said.
Ahead of Ku Mingoli Bash, Hifi Electronics will on Sunday hold a music bash at Umodzi Park in Lilongwe. HiFi Electronics has pledged to provide equipment, transportation and heavy-duty barriers to Ku Mingoli Bash.
The Ku Mingoli Bash is set to host an all-local cast featuring over 20 artists and they include Tay Grin, Patience Namadingo, Black Missionaries, Lulu, Piksy, Temwah, Tuno, Charisma, Fada Moti, Saint and Gwamba.
