Communications regulator – Macra has described National Addressing System as a vital in promoting national development.
Macra says the system also has potential to enhancing security and facilitating easy location identification.
The project is designed to assign physical addresses to every property in the country.
Meanwhile Macra in collaboration with Real Estate Talk MW is engaging key stakeholders in the real estate industry on benefits of the system for the industry.
Speaking to MIJ Online Kondwani Kachika, director of postal and e-commerce services at Macra and Prince Matchika, a certified real estate practitioner have welcomed the initiative saying it will address challenges facing the real estate business.
