Government has announced that the Junior Certificate of Education (JCE) examinations will continue as scheduled on Monday, June 9, 2025, despite the declaration of Eid UL Adha holiday.
According to authorities the examination timetable remains unchanged and students and administrators are expected to report to their designated examination centers at the specified times.
In a press statement signed by Rachel Chimbwete Phiri, Secretary for Basic and Secondary Education states that while the JCE examinations will proceed as planned, all other primary and secondary education subsectors will be closed on Monday to observe the Eid UL Adha holiday.
Chimbwete believes that this will ensure that the examination process is conducted smoothly and without disruptions.
