CDH Bank supports TEVET conference

CDH Investment Bank has invested K2 million to the upcoming national TEVET Conference, that has been planned by the Technical, Entrepreneurial and Vocational Education and Training Authority (TEVETA) taking place from today at BICC, Umodzi Park in Lilongwe Malawi.

The conference brings together industry experts, academics and professionals from various fields to review and build consensus on policies, programs, practices and strategies in the provision of TEVET in the country.

Presenting the sponsorship on Tuesday 25th March 2025, CDH Investment Bank, Account Relationship Manager – Corporate & Public Sector, Mrs Jennie Madinga said the bank is supporting the noteworthy activity that will support the national agenda to propel the socio-economic development in Malawi.

 

“CDH Investment Bank is committed to supporting national development through conferences such as these, which formulate actionable strategies to enhance resource mobilization to strengthen the TEVET system for national productivity. We appreciate the need to invest in training and education in vocational skills which empower youth and businesses and spur economic activity,” she said.

TEVETA Executive Director, Elwin Sichiola, thanked CDH Investment Bank for the constant support, which he said would contribute to the event that seeks to provide a platform for continued national conversations on topical and national development issues of the TEVET ecosystem.
