Business Partners International injects K25 billion into Malawi enterprises

Business Partners International (BPI) has pumped K25 billion ($15 million) into Malawian businesses.

The revelation was made during a business breakfast meeting in Blantyre, where BPI Country Manager Bond Mtembezeka highlighted the company’s rapidly growing investment portfolio.

“Our deployment of K25 billion shows the overwhelming support we’ve received from the market. The portfolio is growing rapidly as more businesses recognise our financing solutions,” Mtembezeka said.

The meeting served as a platform for BPI to showcase its financing options, particularly focusing on equipment purchases and property investments.

Mtembezeka emphasised the company’s flexible approach to repayment terms, noting that arrangements were tailored to each client’s circumstances.

Meshozi Construction Managing Director Lucius Dzimbiri said the funding solutions could address the problem of shortage of critical equipment needed in their operations.

“We, as contractors involved in road construction and buildings, require substantial equipment support. BPI’s financing approach appears well-aligned with our sector’s needs,” Dzimbiri said.

The interactive session allowed entrepreneurs to gain detailed insights into BPI’s investment criteria and pricing structures
