When Beit Cure ignited a call for support for surgeries on children, the corporate world came up in large numbers, and the FCB Bank nailed everything down, by setline the balances at a dinner at Amaryllis Hotel last night.

The event came in the wake of the sought assistance to 2300 children this year, with 80 surgeries requiring funding.

Speaking as a guest of honor, FCB Bank Founder, Hitesh Anadkat announced that the bank would move to square off the remaining balance of over MK 70 Million.

He said: ‘’ What more do you need to see that Beit Cure is doing transformative work for the future of this country. We as a bank and I trust the heart of anybody else has been this remarkable work. We all must ensure these children are repaired and that they meaningfully contribute to this country,’’.

A previous beneficiary narrates her story.

Davie Simengwa, Director of Programs and Development described the support from various stakeholders as worthwhile.

He said the support will now help them carry out all required surgeries without any hitches at all.

According to Simengwa, the surgeries due from this October will see children being assisted according to a district based roster.

During the dinner, one of the previous beneficiaries drew the emotions of the patrons having said how she was being isolated socially due to her situation.

She hailed Beit Cure for the surgeries and urged parents to allow their children undergo the surgeries.
