Known as Revenue Assurance System (RAS), the system will become operational Friday May 31,2024, according to MACRA director general Daud Suleman.
He unveiled this during a press briefing in Lilongwe on Thursday.

Suleman also indicated that they will be streamlining revenue collection processes, reducing errors and increasing efficiency.
"We are also expecting fair pricing and improved service quality: RAS will promote a fair and competitive market environment, leading to better services and pricing for consumes," Suleman added.
Governance commentator Victor Chipofya Jnr has hailed MACRA for the initiative but has called financial prudence in utilizing the revenue generated through the telecommunication companies.
