Credible Investments Limited supports entrepreneurship boosting initiative

Cigarettes producing firm Credible Investments Limited (CIL) has injected K2 million in Kuthandiza Omwe Alibe Kuthekera Kupita Kutsogolo Project, a brainchild of philanthropist and businessperson Triephornia Mpinganjira.

The project seeks to inject capital to small-scale entrepreneurs with outstanding business plans. It was initially designed to benefit 18 young Malawians.

In a press statement signed by  its executive director   Abbas Nasser, CIL, however,  says their contribution means the project will add two more beneficiaries.

“In this partnership, we have released an additional K2 million to the project, pushing the project to K20 million. This means that instead of  having 18 winners, the project will now have 20 winners,” it reads in part.

Nasser added that Credible Investment Limited’s seeks  to contribute to innovation enhancement and the country’s economic growth .

“Malawi has great potential, and it begins with small-scale businesses. This is the reason is we would like to partner with this great initiative for the betterment of Malawian citizens,” he adds.

With its factory based in Njewa in Lilongwe, CIL is a registered cigarette producing company and started its operations in March 2022.

In her reaction, Mpinganjira thanked CIL for its support, which she described as  an endorsement for her project.

The grand finale of the project will be held in Lilongwe on 30th August, where 16 winners will be unveiled. The other four winners were already awarded K1 million in previously held ceremonies.
