
The Goshen City, founded by Prophet Shepherd Bushiri has pumped in half a billion kwacha in this year’s “Malawi Has Talent Season 2”.
The initiative aimed at uncovering local talent across the country has been launched by Times Media Group to provide a platform for talented individuals to shine.

Speaking to MIJ Online Shepherd Bushiri President for Goshen City revealed that the winner of this year’s competition will receive 35 million Kwacha which is an increase from the first expected prize money of 20 million Kwacha.
Bushiri has also indicated that some of the talented acts will perform at their partial launch of Goshen City in September as one way of promoting country’s creative industry.
And on his part, Ralph Chirwa, Head of Marketing at Times Media Group, believes that “Malawi Has Talent” will unearth immense potential of great talent within the country.
According to Chirwa the platform will provide great opportunities for local artists to gain recognition and exposure which is crucial to the growth of the creative industry in the country.
