Youthful musician Emmie Deebo of the ‘Chilipo’ fame on Tuesday invaded Ndirande Township in Blantyre.
His mission was to hand over K2.5 million to Maliko Kalima, who triumphed in the Tisanje Promotion.
Tisanje Promotion is an initiative being driven by Hirwa General Dealers, whose ambassador is Emmie Deebo.
The ambassador of Pink Beauty soap left Kalima all smiles, more so because the winner received the K2.5 million in cash.
“This is huge for me. I am excited and I did not see this coming,” he said.
Emmie Deebo congratulated Kalima for his K2.5 million win in the promotion.
“We, as Hirwa General Dealers, are always happy to give people smiles and we will continue to do so,” the artist, who is managed by Akometsi Entertainment, said.
The Tisanje promotion entails customers buying soap manufactured by Hirwa General Dealers.
Lucky ones find cards that indicate that they have won either cash or fertiliser.
