CFAO supports Beit Cure children surgeries drive

CFAO Mobility Malawi has made a donation of funds amounting to MK2.6 Million as assistance towards a call by Beit Cure Malawi for  life-changing surgeries on children.

Cheque handed over.

Beit CURE Malawi’s Director of Programs Davie Simengwa said the donation will go a mile in ensuring that the exercise is conducted to its fullest while hailing CFAO Mobility for the gesture.

According to Simengwa, they still need MK 151 million out of the budgeted MK 210 million for the exercise.

“The funds we have received today cover treatment, transport, accommodation, and other necessities for one child. We are glad that the corporate world is still responding to our call for help and that is why we are thanking CFAO Malawi today,” he said.

In making the presentation, one of  Cfao’s Marketing officers, Zelma Lopez said the donation responds to the already remarkable work that Beit Cure has been doing.
”We are impressed with the project. The children are the future and therefore to transform them is quite important. We want to be part of that change,” she said.
Until now, Beit Cure has been able to hold funds for surgeries of over two thousand children.
